Is the file present? Only thing I can think of is that this modification is based on the latest available version from the Asus website, and I am not sure if this latest version just introduced CMCSS.dll. So get the latest version off the Asus website first, and then apply my modified executable. Good luck.

The only thing is that the WLAN button don't open the networks window. But I prefere the original behaviour of the button anyway. Aware of both. play/pause with winamp is possible just takes a whole lot of extra coding. WMP stopping is a bug, looking into it now. Thanks,

Just saw "- wireless button (by power button) as well as Fn+F2 now open Network Connections folder" at your website. But now I've testet your new HControl.Exe and the Wireless Button works like before and just turns the wireless Lan On/Off while pushing it. Thats how i like it. The controlling of winamp by the sidebutons runs smoothly. Maybe the funktion of the Play-Button to pause will be included in any later release? You can now choose what player to open/control with a registry key, choose between Winamp, Foobar2k (Foobar requires foo_winamp_spam component) and WMP. The registry key will be launches blindly (so you can launch whatever player/app you want with it), but note HControl can only "control" (using Play, Stop, Next and Prev) the 3 players listed above. Network Connections folder is now only launches instead of an error message. So if you have Intel Proset installed, nothing should change for you, if you don't you'll now get something more useful than an error message. CD on/off (available on my M6N, dunno about other Asus models) can now control an application of your choice via the Custom key. Stop button works again with WMP. Location of the media key has been moved, so make sure you edit and merge the reg file with this update. Uuuuhmm, I dunno see site for more. editiert von: BklynKid, 27.04.2005, 20:37 Uhr
