Thanks for this fabulous feature enhancement of HControl. Finally the side buttons of my M6 are useful again. With the original HControl you could change the volume by holding down the next/prev buttons. Will it be possible to reimplement this feature for winamp? grüsse, O. I'm testing the original version now and I see no such functionality...? What player(s) did that work with? [edit] Freebird, I fixed the 99% CPU bug. Gonna hold off on putting out a new version though. Just try not to press the Stop button unless a player is running. editiert von: BklynKid, 29.04.2005, 18:16 Uhr |

Volume up and volume down by holding the next/reverse button would be great. Can this be done independently from the current player? Even if no player is running? Jorlin W3479NLP - Pentium M 2Ghz - ATI 9700m - 1GB RAM

I see no such functionality in the original, and I've tried all players so far. Perhaps it's my models hardware (M6Ne) is not capable of it. But it seems that the drivers cannot even detect the difference between a longer duration, all it sees that the button was pressed but not if it was held down for a longer time. This would make it impossible to put an 'if-then' event when the 'if' is impossible to achieve. Please prove me wrong. Tell me exactly how it worked, with what player, what conditions and what model. editiert von: BklynKid, 29.04.2005, 19:33 Uhr |

Maybe the volume control was only possible when listening to audio cds while the notebook is powered down, I'm not sure about it, I just remembered that there was such a feature the one time before when I tried it out. grüsse, O. jup, thats right. Volume control holding the next/back buttons only works with the audio-DJ function (Notebook switched off) I tried increasing/decreasing volume with WMP or Winamp, but it wouldn't work... So far, I'm really impressed from what you seem to have reached... I did not install your mod, because these days I'm going to reset my system completely anyway... Then I will check this out... No word from Intervideo. I guess they don't care about developer support. | |
