Newbie registriert: Jan. 2004 Beiträge: 15 Status: offline letzter Besuch: 04.03.04	Hi all, I seem to understand from visiting this forum that all Asus 6800N SXGA+ models suffer from irregular lighting on the TFT screens: the bottom part is brighter than the upper part....is this true, or is it just some people that have defective screens and others have good ones? How is the screen on the 6700 models? does it have the same problem or is it better ? In general, do you think WSXGA is better than SXGA+ ? also, I keep reading about the 600 Mhz problem, could someone please explain to me what this problem is. Thank you very much and sorry if I keep asking questions in English !

It is right that a lot of people have problems with their 6800 display, but i can't tell you own experience. My 6700 display has not such great difference lightning problems. although it is a little bit brighter at the buttom, but i can only see it if the background is black. In general i prefer Wide-Screens, but this question is a personal choice. There are a lot of reasons for both kinds of screens. I never had the 600 Mhz problem so i can't tell you anything about it!
