I didnt`t found any dead pixels yet. I haven`t seen anybody with dead pixels, so calm down I think ASUS is very tolerant, also they won`t let out a notebook with dead pixels. M6800N - 1,5Ghz |

I haven't found a single dead pixel on my display as well. I thought I had found some but I realized it was dust... So I really think that is no reason to worry. M6800N, 1.5GHz, 512MB, DVD/CD-RW COMBO, WLAN Intel 2200BG Hoffentlich mein letztes ASUS |

Sorry to correct you, Asus IS very tolernat, but the display is class II. That means a certain amount of dead pixels is allowed and no reason for exchange. But display manufacturing is very good and as mowses said, I think there will we very very few bad displays out. Do not worry about these. I had displays form iiyama which where class II, too, and they exchanged it because of 1 defect pixel. Hope Asus will do the same in case, but we will only know when somebody has one. alt:A7JC, Centrino DUAL, 1GIG, 100GB Sata, 17 Zoll X1600256MB, DVD RW, grottenschlechtes XP MCE ganzneu: V1J 2ghz, 2GB, 120GB, X1600 256MB, 15,4, Rest folgt |

I bought a m6800n from notebooksbilliger.de, with a pixel test (¤50!). After a few hours I found a permanently red pixel in the middle of the screen, so I sended it back. Now I don't know if I should buy the m6700n. Is the wide screen on the 6700 better? | |

My display (M6700N) is not better. Indeed, I've 2 pixels that always take the color of some pixels above them. Strange, I know... M6700N, 1,4GHz, 512MB, 80GB Western Digital WDC WD800VE, Bios 0214 |
